Why choose a grafted pistachio plant?
The grafted pistachio plant is the best option if you want to shorten production times. and ensure a more homogeneous development of the crop.
Unlike ungrafted plants, which can take more than 6 years to provide profitable production, the grafted plant:

Buy male and female pistachio tree
For your production to thrive, you need both plants of female varieties (which are the ones that bear fruit) and male varieties (which are the ones that pollinate the females). Approximately only 7% of your plantation should be composed of male pistachios.
But the male pistachio variety should be chosen taking into account the female variety chosen, since each one corresponds to a male according to the flowering season.
