How do we process your pistachio?
There is no small print here. We tell you how we work step by step in our state-of-the-art pistachio processing plant:
Step 1: Receiving your harvest
Once your harvest arrives at our plant, we weigh the pistachio nuts in green, peeled and we record all the data on your packing slip, as well as that of the sample.
Step 2: Cleaning, peeling and drying.
We start with the processing, with the winnowing of leaves, sticks and peeling. Once cleaned, we proceed to drying at low temperature. Our system maintains fruit quality at the highest level, without damaging the flavor and texture. And all samples are dried homogeneously with the whole batch peeled.
Step 3: Classification
We eliminate the pistachio that remains empty and the rest is distributed according to calibration, open or closed, stained or clean.
Step 4: Optical and manual selection
We carefully select the pistachios with our state-of-the-art optical sorters and finally the human eye in a manual selection to guarantee the highest quality.
Step 5: Pistachio splitter
All the closed and stained pistachios, lWe crack you to get the pistachio kernel.
